Ranger Wildtrak - Turbo Issues
Discussion
We have a 2014 Wildtrak that has done less than 30k miles
Turbo was replaced under warranty in 2017, and now after suffering loss of power and the engine cutting out (mainly when towing a trailer on cruise control) Ford have advised the turbo has gone and needs to be replaced.
Is turbo failure a common issue with these vehicles?
Thanks

Often the variable flow oil pump is, which usually manifests itself in the turbo failing first, then the motor.Turbo was replaced under warranty in 2017, and now after suffering loss of power and the engine cutting out (mainly when towing a trailer on cruise control) Ford have advised the turbo has gone and needs to be replaced.
