Mk3.5 Focus ST Gearbox?

Good evening.
I've had my car for 5 days now and I've come across a problem. The first few days I put it down to getting used to the car but upon investigating it, it's not and it is definately a problem. Its a 2016 Focus ST and it pops out of 4th gear when I change into 4th and release the clutch, its also very jolty when changing through all the gears, not so much at motorway speeds. I am suspecting 4th gear synchros but surely if it was it would pop out of 4th gear even when the throttle is pressed but it is only when I release the clutch after changing into the gear. Is there anything else it could be. The car is going into the garage for a diagnosis and then a claim on the warranty.... Hopefully, but dealer garages tend to be dog s
t and will say everything is fine. I'm just after a bit of ifs and maybes to throw at them when the inevitable comes.
