Hello,

My boss races classic cars here in the UK and came into work last week with a differential that he had lying around in his garage. He said it would probably be worth selling but obviously I need to correctly identify it before attempting to sell.
I have done as much research as I can but I am still not sure how to correctly label the item for sale. I am not intending on selling on this website, I have only come for advise.

All I know:

Ring Gear: 32
Pinion Gear: 9
Ratio: 3.55

Code identified:

105e40258

Any advice would be appreciated smile

It is definitely from a Ford English axle, and fits a wide range - so Anglia/ earlier Escorts and Cortinas, etc. 3.55 is one of the higher ratios available, the stock Anglia was either 4.1 or 4.4.

Thank you both smile
It's a bit of a mind field when you're not familiar.
