Fiesta Mk7.5 Fan
Discussion
I am not near the car at the moment so can't check. Anybody know if the fan has a live supply which the ECU switches to 0v or the other way round. Also is it single speed operation or does the ecu have the option of controlling the speed ?
I would like to add a fan override switch to manually run the fan at half speed

The fan on the 1.0 has 2 speeds for cooling and then AC there is a resistor on the fan cowling that drops the voltage for the low speed both speeds are controlled by relays in the fusebox under the bonnet then are neg trigger at the relay.

Please see the above link I have labeled the relays so you can identify the engine cooling fan. It will require a bit of work to get the fusebox out but you could then connect an extra wire on and run it back to a switch so that it can be turned on when you want.
