Hi

I am running a 2.9 granada engine in my 1991 TVR S series... I have made some modifiaction to the exhaust system and I am wondering if I disconnect the ECU will it remap itself to the new system or will it just remember the old?

The exhaust mods shouldn't make a difference to the way the module controls the fuelling.

The only connection between the 2 systems is the hego sensors, but these will only report back O2 content to the module so it can alter the pulse widths of the injectors.

Removing power from the module for 10mins will normally clear the KAM but when it's reconnected the module WONT remap it's self. for the first drive cycle after power is returned the module will learn the parameters of the sensors and actuators, so a drive from cold to normal operating temp is advised making sure the module sees idle, WOT and various stages of load in each gear etc.
