1982 Ford Sierra - 1.6 Pinto WHAT CLUTCH?
Discussion
Hey gang
I'm getting conflicting info at the moment from various sources so wondered if someone here might be able to help?
I have a 1.6 Sierra, original Pinto Donkey, 4 speed box. What clutch kit do I need? Some are saying 20 spline, some 24. I really can't be fetching the ruddy thing off just to find out I've got the wrong one, and nor do I want to immobilise the whole car!
hope someone can help

Type 2 box - 20 spline, Type 3 - 20 spline, Type E - 23 spline.
Burton have images of each box in their tuning guides page with some fitment details;

In the unlikely event that a service booklet is still present & in the even more unlikely event that it's was properly completed at PDI, the gearbox type may be noted.
