Help wanted! 3.14:1 ford diff

I'm just looking at my options for the latest project. I'm transplanting a Jaguar S-Type 3.0 V6 into a TVR S2 for a bit more get up and go.
The gearbox has a 1:1 5th gear ratio so I'm looking for info on the 3.14 ford diff.

I may be wrong but they seem to come in the 7" variant, if I was to find one could the crown wheel and pinion be swapped into a 7.5" housing if shimmed correctly etc?
