Hi

My daughter's Fiesta has a problem with its Easy Fuel filler. There is a small black flap (with a green gasket) that has come loose. Has anyone experienced this and/or know whether it's an easy job to replace? Thanks.

I believe the part is the fuel inlet valve - part number 2113122. I'm not sure if that is correct, or whether it is something I could fit. Thanks.

Looks knackered but there appear to be second-hand pipes on ebay for about £40.
Looking at those, the job looks do-able by an amateur but fuel is volatile.

Thanks for your post. I was looking at this as a potential solution but can't find any details online about how easy/possible it is to fit.

Just looking on the Ford Owners Forum and one guy with a Focus said the filler pipe is a nightmare to get out. There is a 2017 post about your exact problem (detached flap turned sideways) on a 2015 Fiesta where they suggest it's a warranty problem.

It may be worth contacting Ford to clarify. Bear in mind I am still getting free replacement airbags for a 2005 Mustang, under warranty so it may be a known safety issue.
