Finding Ford radio code

Hi all,

My runabout '04 Mondeo went into the garage the other day to have some work done and for some reason they disconnected the battery. This has reset the radio which has locked itself, and looking through the paperwork the bit of card the code came on is missing and there is nothing written in the audio guide.

Have managed to pull the radio out of the dash and found the serial number M022759 on the unit itself.

Can I ring a Ford dealership with this and ask them or do I need other info?

There is a chap on the HonestJohn site who seems to be able to help. Username Galaxy and the thread has 958 replies now spanning over 6 years!

I had a similar code issue with a Mondeo, I went to a Ford dealer and they gave me the code for free.
