Hello all, I am looking for some help here. I have a Mondeo ST200 saloon that I am trying to find some info on. I have owned the car for over five years. I have just relised it may be a rare car. I now know that only 600 saloons were built, what seems to make my car different is that it is silver. Every picture I can find of this model are blue. I await your expertise???
Is it definitely an ST200 and not an ST24 with the wheels and dual exhausts fitted? It should say on the V5 if it is.
As far as I am aware, in the UK all ST200s were Imperial Blue, apart from some ones ordered for some police forces which were white. Also, the saloons in the UK were a limited edition and had a 2 tone black/blue interior.
A quick google suggests ST200s were sold in other colours on the continent, so its possible yours could have been ordered from an EU dealer (in EU spec) but RHD, which was all the rage in the late 90s/early 00s as there were quite good savings in doing it and manufacturers would let you (they cottoned on eventually and blocked it).
