Hello to all that read this, not expecting a reply as I don’t think anyone has probably looked.
So it’s lockdown and thought I would give this a try. Whilst finishing a bit of wiring to get a pair of heated front seats working I was looking at the wiring schematic for the traction control button. Obviously works in the opposite to abs so wiring comes from the main abs control unit located in the engine bay. The factory traction control button sits next to the drivers heated seat button. Wiring from it is simple, an earth wire, an illumination wire to backlight the switch when the headlights are on and a wire that connects to the abs control unit

My question is does anyone know the real world location of the bk/wh wire from pin 38 of the abs unit within the footwell behind the fuse box located behind the glovebox?
Saves taking the engine bay half apart to trace that particular wire.
There are other bk/wh wires within the loom so not so easy to just find that particular one. The one I did find is part of the windscreen wiper circuit.
My car is a late facelift 04 reg 1.8 ghia and it doesn’t have any wiring looms taped up out the way.
Literally I have one wire to connect from the switch (pin 2) to the abs control unit ( pin 38).
Thanks in advance for any help smile
