Ford Ka Traction Control Light

Hi, I have a 2013 street ka, which is fun to drive albeit a bit slow, however slight problem with the traction conrol light being very dimly lit and i mean dim, there is no ABS light coming on at the same time to suggest that braking is a problem, the car drives and breaks well no pulling either. I have been lead to believe that a slight 'ghosting' of lights on the dashboard is common with the ka's, i would be grateful if anyone can shed any light on this problem and where to start looking. I hasten to add that on dry days the lights seem to go off so in order to addresss the damp problem the engine etc has been sprayed with a water repellent spray.
