cortina mk4 steering rack parts

hi all,i own a tvr tasmin early fhc 1981.i believe it has the above steering rack fitted.Can you get parts for these to diy fix.i have play in the offside track rod ball housing,i believe you drill out a locking pin and undo ball joint replace spring and cup ,inspect parts if ok re tighten to give correct movement with spring balance ,drill new hole and re-pin? can you get these parts? or is it off for a refurb? thanks dave
