Looking at a new Focus at the moment - I'm aware that there are quite a few reports of Focus/Fiesta Sts getting bumpers and the like removed whilst parked - is the same true of the ST Lines? Not particularly bothered about owning one but have been offered a potentially good deal on an ST Line X, but will steer well clear if it could prove to be a liability.
Cheers.

Are you seriously considering not buying a car that you would do otherwise because you think there is a significant chance that somebody will unbolt the bumper and steal it while the car is parked?
This sounds laughable to me. biggrin
You are worrying over absolutely nothing at all.
This just makes me wonder what other obscure things you worry about in life.

No, but my wife (whose car it would be) is, driven by a spate of cars getting nicked and stripped of parts in our area (quiet village, within striking distance of Brum...), and her having a long battle with anxiety.
So yes, it is a consideration, and it's why we've never had a Focus ST or AMG despite having some very good deals available to her.
Laugh away.

I can't imagine it be that worthwhile on a Ford Focus, in order to keep your partners sanity I'd look into dash cams and notifications.
I've had good experience in using blackvue but thinkware do offer a similar experience for less money.
