Daughter needs 2-4 new tyres soon (Christmas present, incoming :hehe)
Currently still the original ContiPremium Contact.....& since they will be 6 years old next spring, I suspect it makes sense to replace them all, even though the rears still have ~5mm on.

By preference, I would pick a decent all-season tyre these days - the top brands you see on https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessories-tyres/92...

However.

195/50R16 is pretty well unavailable in any of the top ones there. The Falken Euroall Season AS210 is.....

Can't decide whether to go for those, or just a decent summer tyre (maybe even a Costco special deal!)
She isn't in Snowdonia or anywhere really wild (Sheffield, so a bit wild!), so probably I'm overthinking this, & should just replace like with similar/like!

Any recommendations?

Bear in mind its best to swap all 4 to all season and not mix with summer tyres.

Thanks - that one came below the Falken in the AE tests - were you recommending the Hankooks?

& yes, I would aim to change all 4....although I'm less clear that is a big issue with summer+all-season (I know full summer+winter is a BadIdea™

Dont believe everthing in AE!
Lets face it ANY all season tyre is going to be better than the current used/new summer tyres in greasy weather.

Yeah, probs right! I bet even the cheapest FooKing all-season tyre is as good as a 6 year old Conti summer one hehe
