MK2 Fiesta BC4 gear linkage self centering

Hi guy's ive recently purchased a Mk2 fiesta as a bit of fun.

anyway I believe it has a BC4 box, (4 speed). the shifter has pretty much no self centering. which makes the selecting a gear a less than accurate. is there a self centering spring in the box or the sifter i can replace? i cant seem to find an answer on the interwebs.

i need to make some bushes for the linkages but thats easy enough.

I don't know what a bv4 box is but I used to have a mk2 fiesta and the gear lever was connected to a black box full of ball bearings and springs directly beneath it. That had linkages to the actual gear box. First thing I did after buying it was rebuild that box.

Mines got an Ali box below the leaver. I'm guessing this is the early version? How way was it to rebuild? I can't even find any parts to rebuild it with.
