They may well have personalised registrations on and sat in static collections. Last RS200 I saw on the road was end of the day after Stanford Hall AVO show in the late 80's on M1.

F938 MJN, the red RS200, was mine, in use regularly (and for 48,000 miles) as a road car from late 1988 to early 1991, on Ford Motorsport business.
Both the car and the registration number were absolutely genuine.
It was white as built, and registered by Ford, but re-sprayed in Ferrari Rosso Red before delivery to me.

Incidentally, currently I am finalising a big book about the entire RS200 project
I will be shouting loudest of all to finally kill the myth that RS200s were build by Reliant. WRONG ! An ex-Reliant factory, yes, quite a number of ex-Reliant mechanics building the cars, yes, BUT management by Ford, yes too ....
.It will be published by Herridge and Sons in about a year's time.
