Replacement heated screen for a Fiesta

Our 'shopping trolley' is a 2005 diesel Fiesta, still only on 46,000 miles. The heated screen failed some time ago though we've never bothered to do anything about it.

If it should become an insurance claim, would it be replaced by a heated screen and if not, how expensive are they? There's a £95 windscreen excess on the policy.

Yes they'll replace with heated, can't help you with cost but I use a local fella who charges £140 for a Transit

It would be replaced with whatever screen it came with, therefore a heated one.

All I would do is make sure the people replacing it know its a heated one as I don't think that all Ford's came with them.
