Helloo
I have a 2009 1.6 ford fiesta mk7 on factory 17 inch alloys

I am looking to buy after market alloys but can't figure out which ones will fit my car. I've figured out I need 7.5x17 and 4x108??? Also does the offset matter??

Speak to the supplier about what will fit. They’ll have all the info to hand.

You can within reason fit any size wheel to a car.

But keep it simple, what size are they at the moment?

Also doing some google fu, says your wheels are ET47 if you run 17s. The offset is the distance from the centre face of the rim to the edge and is massively important.

This is wrong. The offset is the distance between the centre face of the rim to the centre line of the rim, not the edge.

It’s important but there can often be differences in the offset of recommended rims for the same car.

For example, if a wider rim is available as an option the offset may be different from the narrower option to place the outside face of the rim where the designer wants it.

As otherwise suggested, check on wheel-size.com
