Used to build quite a few around 40 years ago. Quite fiddly in certain areas to get right & damned expensive spares. Also not massively powerful. Unless originality is critical I'd still go for a Zetec or Duratec. More power for less dosh & still a Ford lump.yes its for historic reasons, as looked into this last night and it has to be engine of the period and as this was Lotus or BDA and to find a BDA would be almost impossible, could go for the 2.0 ltr pinto with 48's on, go sometime before I need this as long road ahead, getting car ready, thanks Mike.
