1.0 EcoBoost 125 buying advice - low miles or newer?
Discussion
Hi,
I'm replacing a 60 plate 1.6 Focus Titanium that I've owned for 5 years. I've test drive a Zetec S 1.0 125 15 plate at the weekend and was quite surprised how it compared to the 60 1.6 Zetec engine.
Thinking of 1.0 EcoBoost 125 2016 / 2015 model. I usually do about 6K per year domestic use. Looking for advice on whether I should try for A) Newer model with higher miles B) Older with lower miles. Thinking of keeping this next car for a similar period. I value good economy and not having to shell out much to look after the car.
What advice would you give? Thanks in advance.

I was in a similar position recently. We looked at a MK8 and MK7.5 both 125 st line cars.
The MK7.5 had about 10k miles and the new car only had 5K but the price difference was only about £500.
After looking at and driving both cars the MK8 was the obvious choice for us. The older car was feeling a bit dated even though it was only six months older.
The interior is a big improvement and has a lot more tech as standard if you go for the right trim.
We've only had ours for a couple of months but are very happy we went for the newer car/shape.
