Hi all, thanks for letting me be part of this club, I'm in need if some advise, I recently heard a small like tweet noise coming from near the fan belt when cold then it went away when warmed up, so as a precaution and thinking it was the auxiliary belt I had it replaced (big mistake) when I got car back next day it was even louder, but could see new belt had been done, garage said bring back, they had it all day letting it cool down fully and kept testing but heard nothing! I got it back home, next morning when cold same noise, by the time I get to garage it's gone as its warmed up, they said wait until it gets worse and is constant then bring it back!! But it's got louder when cold only, but now car feels sluggish and I hear a humming / vibrate when I accelerate and I have noticed a wobble when i accelerate hard from 20 to 55mph it's bad enough to slow me back down, it does not feel like steering wobble more like front end wobble, any ideas/advice, belt, tyres, wheels all seem fine, can hear the sort of high pitched tweet noise more when head is near drivers side wheel, when I'm stationary and rev I hear it get faster with the revs!
Ps noticed today small split in intake hose, surely that wont cause a bad wobble? Please help. Cmax 57plate 2.0 auto thank you so much in advance. Mark
