Fiesta 1.25 remap?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it was worth remapping my 1.25 fiesta (2007).

I know this engine is meant to be fairly limited by design so i'm not expecting much, if any, power from it, but i was wondering if it could be mapped to improve fuel consumption a bit?

On a run its really good, getting about 43ish, highest i've seen was 45, but my average this winter has been around 33 on my daily commute and i'm not sure if a remap would make it a bit better.

I wouldn't usually consider this but i'm thinking of keeping the car for a few years until my insurance goes down enough to get something a bit quicker.

Waste of time.

A remap will be 300 odd quid, it will give you 5-10bhp maximum and a few mpg if you are lucky.
