Mondeo mk3 1.8 petrol, clutch, is it doo-able at home ?

If you're handy with the spanners then it's not a difficult job just time consuming as so much of the front end has to be stripped to get the gearbox out. The only things to be wary off is making sure the subframe is aligned properly when refitting and getting the gearbox in out can be awkward, an extra pair of hands is needed and if you haven't got one I would get hold of a gearbox cradle that fits on a trolley jack or hire an engine hoist and lift the gearbox in and out.
