How much for new 1ltr eco engine in fiesta ?

Currently going through hell with my fiesta took it to garage because of ticking noise from engine they supposedly stripped engine and found that piston two had bit cracked off 23000 miles done on car saying I need new engine as it's been floating about ruining other parts bores or something just wondering how much I should be looking at paying for new engine and fitting don't want to be ripped off any more than I have already
