S-Max 2011 - Sat Nat update

my S-Max is going in for service shortly and i asked the dealer about updating the satnav as its increasingly out of date. Apparently they need to order in the CD (or SD card - i need to confirm which) through Parts and it will cost about £100.

pretty shocked at this cost for a one time update, i could buy a new TomTom for that with map updates, i thought the dealer would have one disc to update customer cars as standard!

are there other options?

Unfortunately this is the problem with built in systems, dealers can charge whatever they want.

There may be alternatives to dealer purchased updates on ebay etc.
