Hi all

Just wondering if this is a powershift gearbox? I'm test driving a 2014 focus 1.6 Duratec tomorrow. I'm just wondering if it's equipped with a dreaded powershift or eco boost? The garage are saying it's not but various people on other forums are telling me it is a powershift. Thought I'd come here for a third opinion.

The DPS6 is a PowerShift branded dual clutch transmission, but it's a dry clutch version rather than the wet clutch PowerShift fitted to the 2.0 petrol and diesels.

None of the mechatronic issues, but they are prone to juddering.

Thanks for that. Would you recommend staying clear of this then? Are these the shifters that have caused so many problems?
