ford everest suv immobilizer

hello everyone

i am sure this topic has been forumed before but i couldnt find any link, my apologies if i am starting a new thred

i own a 2006 ford everest suv, in some countries its known as the ford endeavor, it has a same engine as a ford ranger.

recently the immobilizer starting acting up, the immobilizer light comes on the dashboard, and the car used to start after a few attempts, until now its not starting at all

i did take it to a garage before and they asking a huge amount to get it fixed,

is there a way i can disengage or by pass the immobilizer so i can just start with the key?

there are a lot of videos online but i dont know which one suits my car

its me again,, i did open up the cover surrounding the steering wheel and i found the small unit under the ignition key, {i think this is where the sensor receiver is located} couldnt find any physical damage to the wiring

Someone might know the answer, but be aware that this is a British website, and most of the posters are British - the Everest is not sold in this country. You'll probably have better luck elsewhere.
