Radio turns itself on when car parked up and switched off

My daughter in law has contacted me this evening to tell me her radio is turning itself on when she parks car up, walks away with key and later returns.

Happened several times today and last night, so she has took notice and is certain the radio is off when she leaves car.

The Radio normally turns on automatically when she starts the car so I suppose it comes on with some type of relay rather than having to be manually turns on.

The same car has been getting some random intermittent turbo fault warning lights which were not successfully diagnosed by a local auto electrician.

Have no idea if they are linked or connected, just wondering if any ford owners have experienced either or both problems and can offer advice. My son is off shore at the moment hence she’s contacted me for help.

Her car is a Ford Fiesta 1.6 diesel 2014 reg.

Not a Ford, but I've read of some SEATs having a similar issue and the culprit turned out to be the headunit itself.

Knackered batterys can throw up all manner of weird electrical faults on modern cars.

Cheers everybody, tried parking the other way around but didn’t make any difference, good suggestion though.

Going to try a new battery and take it from there,
