S-Max 1.8 TDCi 5 speed or 6 speed gearbox

I'm looking to buy a used 1.8 TDCi S-Max and wondered if any one knows if there's much difference between how a 5 and 6 speed drive. Is there a significant difference? And is one much better than the other?

If you have the choice I would say 6 speed.

The 5 drive perfectly fine however, good boxes on them but the 6th is nice to have for motorway work.
