2010 Focus Mk2.5 - Frozen USB

Hi all,

I am in need of some help. First off, the car is a 2010 Focus ST Mk2.5 with the optional sat-nav & usb port in the arm rest.

For the past week or 2, my usb port has been frozen on the same track & time on that track. It senses that the usb is in the socket & when I remove it is shades out on the screen. When you then put it back in, it wont play the song. Today, I have disconnected the battery (+ve only), left it for about 5 mins, pressed a couple buttons on the head unit & reconnected the battery. After adding my pin code, I had hoped the usb would be free now but no, still frozen.

Any idea's on how to fix it?

I have tried the same usb in another car & it works fine. I will give another usb stick a try. Until this, I have had no other issues.

Managed to fix it. Found another usb stick, put some music on it so that it would forget the frozen track. It played the new stick so when I put the original one back in, it worked fine.
