Mk3 RS - some questions

Writing this on behalf of my boss who owns a Mk3 RS in Magnetic Grey (will get some pics ASAP)

He has had Mountune kit fitted (M375)
I know that he is looking to get the Sound suppression chamber fitted (dump valve whistle isn't to his taste), loud and lary isn't his taste.

He is also toying with getting Mountune mud flaps fitted - but isn't sure how its going to look etc.

Opinions here please?

Also if anyone has them fitted on theirs please can we have some pics from different angles (one from low down ideally please)

The SSC is not fitted to stop turbo whistle which is not very loud on this car at any rate. It is to stop the "blowing across the top of a wine bottle " type whistle that occurs when you swap the OEM air filter to a K&N which he will have as part of the FPM375 kit.

Has he identified the whistle as annoying ?

Mud flaps ??? Purely subjective and plenty of images on Google to trawl through .

Yes he has specifically said that the whistling is annoying him, my mistake on the turbo whistle

Have done a google, wanted some real world pics (if anyone here has any) .. also what general thoughts on getting them added are ... personally I like them on some cars but understand why people dont like them

The Mountune mud flaps are manufactured by Rally Armor and look identical apart from the Mountune logo. I prefer the Rally Armor logo because it looks neater.
These mudflaps are the same as owners fit to the Mk.3 Focus ST. I have personally fitted them to 2 ST's and think they look great. As stated there are hundreds if not thousands of online images available.
What does it matter what other people think......does that mean if a few people post saying they hate them, then you relay this information to your boss it will sway his decision to fit them even though he actually likes them?
Also doesn't matter if you like them...its your boss that wants them.

Didn't fit mud flaps to my Mk1 or Mk2 Focus RS, but wish I had. There's far less dirt and grit thrown down the side of the car now, and I think they suit the car.

Yes they look good and are functional....although some people seem to hate them.

2 months later and your boss still hasn't seen what they look like and got round to buying the mudflaps.
Maybe he wasn't that bothered in the first place.
