Hoping to get a bit of advice, please.
I've got a Fiesta Titanium X with keyless entry and I started getting 'a low key battery' warning, so I replaced the battery in the fob with a brand new Energizer CR2032. All good initially, but one month later and the same message has re-appeared.
Is it possible I need to do some master reset of the system as it may be an erroneous message - if so, any ideas on how I do it? Also wondering if this is a common issue.
Or maybe I should get a Duracell replacement rather than Energizer, although I though the latter was a reputable brand.
Any tips/suggestions gratefully received . Thanks in advance.

we had this on our kuga, went through about 10 batteries, then read online to lock/unlock the car 3 times with the button on the remote and it will reset the warning!! Since doing this we are over a year on the battery so far

Thank you very much for the tip.
After posting I changed the battery to a new Duracell, which removed the message i was getting and so far the message hasn’t returned. But now you’ve given me the tip I’ve just used the remote to open/close the doors as you describe in the hope it banishes the message for good.
Thanks again, Paul

Forgive me for asking but i'm getting the same problem, when you say you press the button on and off do you do that in the car or with the car running etc. I tried it from outside the car unlocking and locking three times but the signal still came on this morning

Have you changed the battery in the key?
