Ford Fiesta 'Low Key Battery' Warning
Discussion
Hoping to get a bit of advice, please.
I've got a Fiesta Titanium X with keyless entry and I started getting 'a low key battery' warning, so I replaced the battery in the fob with a brand new Energizer CR2032. All good initially, but one month later and the same message has re-appeared.
Is it possible I need to do some master reset of the system as it may be an erroneous message - if so, any ideas on how I do it? Also wondering if this is a common issue.
Or maybe I should get a Duracell replacement rather than Energizer, although I though the latter was a reputable brand.
Any tips/suggestions gratefully received . Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much for the tip.
After posting I changed the battery to a new Duracell, which removed the message i was getting and so far the message hasn’t returned. But now you’ve given me the tip I’ve just used the remote to open/close the doors as you describe in the hope it banishes the message for good.
Thanks again, Paul
