Hello.

I've been having trouble with my Ford Galaxy since it snowed in mid December. I spent a while clearing the snow off the roof/windscreen but pushed the windscreen snow against the scuttle cover.

I started the engine up a day later to clear the ice properly and noticed the rev clock dropped and the exhaust note gave the impression of a misfire. It rectified itself within a minute.

I drove off and within seconds, the ABS/TC lights were on. I turned around to come home as the speedo needle dropped and stopped working, the fuel gauge needle flickers back and forth, handbrake light continuously on and refuel warning appearing.

The garage I took it to, scanned her, told me there was little to no signal on N/S front and mechanical error/signal loss on front O/S.

Since then, it has had 2 new ABS/wheel speed sensors and a new ABS ring.

This hasn't rectified the issue. The OBD said they were the only issues.

I'm at a loss and just wondered if anyone here had any experience of the same or similar.

I don't wish to be "that" guy who has to post the engine type but it may help. It's a 24v 2.8 VR6 AYL, a VW engine.

Thank you.
