Street Ka knocking noise and boot problems!

Hi, my central locking has never worked on my street ka, as it sets off the alarm, so I have always manually had to open the boot with my key from the inside of the car. Now for some reason the boot won't open unless someone pulls it up whilst I open it from inside. When I've pressed on the latch to test if it's shutting etc it releases so it's not the actual latch it must be the bonnet bit, do you have any ideas?

Also my car is making a serious knocking noise constantly whilst driving, I've just had the rear suspension bushes and wishbones changed for my mot so it's not those...any ideas?

Can't help with the knocking but when StreetKA launched it had problems with central locking/alarm/boot. From memory most of it was down to the lid of the section the roof folds into. Try cleaning all the latches, etc in thereand make sure it fits flush.
