Im looking to buy a super cheap tow car and for the life of me I cant sufficiently confirm the towing capability of the early Ford Rangers via google to go ahead and buy one. Can somebody confirm what the tow capacity of a 2003 ish 2.5 deisel is please? (in any cab variant)

Im towing a twin axel brian james and a mondeo ST220 so prob a smidge under 2000kg. The early Ford Rangers look a bargain at the moment but would consider anything else suitable. Its really only for towing and maybe mountain biking so happy to go with a pick up rather than a 4X4 SUV. And by cheap I mean £1000-£2000 tops!

Cheers.

Any of the 4x4 Rangers will pull 2000kg, I can't remember the exact figures but from memory, regardless of cab-style it was 3000kg across the board.
