Sticking Clutch

My son has a 16 plate KA 1.2, it has an intermittent clutch fault. Whilst driving or reversing the clutch will not disengage occasionally it can be very unnerving when in traffic and when reversing, the fault happens at any time whether its been run for for a while or from cold. the main dealer had the car for 3 weeks !!!! and diagnosed a faulty clutch slave cylinder this has not worked and after a week it is now back at the dealers who won't do anything till they drive it and it faults on them. as it is under warranty. Has anybody else experience in late model KA's
