Hi, can anyone advise if there is any cheap / free software that can resolve a immobiliser issue.
(Or anyone in the north of Northamptonshire who can sort for a small fee, only cost £600 and owner is basically broke and needs it for work).

Owner had the car 2 weeks and ran fine before this happened.

Engine turns over but doesn't fire, light by clock flashing rapidly. Apparently Greenflag got it to fire for a few seconds squirting something in the inlet and diagnosed immobiliser. So looks like fuel is cut off.
I can't get Torque to even talk to the car. Nor a Chinese hand held.

Car is a 55 Titanium X TDCi 130.

Has it got the fuse box in the passenger footwell under the dash? If so try removing/refit 5A immobiliser fuse and try to restart. Had this a few times on later model mondeos and they have started every time smile
