Focus 2005 corroded spark plugs (nut missing)
Discussion
Hi, I have recently acquired a very good condition 2005 focus.
Unfortunately it has suffered with the well known water ingress issue from the washer jets into the Spark Plug chamber, presume the plugs have been there bathing in water since birth!
When in for a service, the mechanic advised that 2 of the plugs could not be changed as they had no nut left on them and therefore could not be removed, I didn't believe him so took the car back and have now subsequently got a micro camera into the chamber and took some photos, looks pretty nasty TBF.
Anyone have any idea how I remove spark plugs when the nut has completely corroded away without removing the head?
Photos showing 2 new plugs and 2 that have no nut...
