Hi guys, hope someone can offer a bit of advise.
The long and short of it is filling my car with petrol takes forever, anymore than a 1/4 lever pull on the nozzle causes the pump to click off. I never had this issue with my old ST with the same system.
The internet comes up with various responses from hold the nozzle at different angles to blocked breathers or stuck anti-syphon flaps. Is it a case of I'm doing it wrong or is a dealer visit on the cards?

Any advise would be appreciated,
Thanks.

On our Kuga and the Torneos at work the best way is to not hold the nozzle but to put it in as far as it will go and let it rest on the filler pipe.

I have heard people complaining about this quite a few times, but I am on my third Focus in a row with the easy fuel system and have never had a single problem.
I do as stated above....insert nozzle fully and let it rest on the filler neck while pulling the lever.
Just to rule it out I take it you have tried different pumps at different garages and still having the same problem?

Hi, thanks for the responses. I tried the resting technique, but to no avail. I have gone to 5 or 6 different stations and all seam the same, its driving me nuts! It was quiet when i went in last night and it almost sounds like the neck cant cope with the fuel flow, it just backs up constantly. I think im going to pop into my local dealer tomorrow and see what they say.
