Good afternoon all,

Long time reader of all things PH infrequent poster.
Hope this is ok and in the right place. Looking for some assistance identifying some bits i have.
A pair of seats from a 3 door escort cosworth replica.

No recaro badging

And a bonnet that I'd like to confirm either way as genuine escort cosworth or not.

Any further pictures information please shout.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I owned an Escort Cosworth.

Seats don't know but don't look like cos seats.

Bonnet......I would say that if the vent holes look factory original, not cut by bodgy Bob ,then it's probably a genuine Ford part.

FYI,all Escort Cosworths are 3 door BTW.

Is bonnet painted in Mallard green ?......It's difficult to make out on phone screen.

If so,it's a unique colour to Cosworths.

Thanks for the responses, I've searched for interior options for cosworth and RS-Turbos and can't match the interior to anything I've seen. Concern for me is that there is no recaro badging. I did wonder if they might be from the late RS2000 also?
Who knows.

Ah yes sorry, I originally wrote it as 3 door escort and then decided it read better mentioning the replica side.

Is this malard green?

The vent cutouts look pressed into the bonnet with a return at 90 degrees to the bonnet surface maybe 7 or 8 mm that the vent clips too. I've measured to the corners of bonnet etc and they are mm perfect in the placement as well. Hence I believe genuine.

Thanks again

Almost a hint of purple in the right light as well. I did love the look. Es cos was a relatively attainable car when I had the TD based replica. Shame it was slow and pretty awful to drive.
Thanks

Good shout that man, found a set on a Google image search that look the right shape and don't have recaro badging. Can't see if they have the same two levers for adjustment in front of the seatbelt catch but a strong contender. Would the seats bolt into an escort from a fiesta without modification as the subframes don't look modified in any way.

Could also be escort si seats which looks pretty much the same.

Fords of that era all had pretty much interchangeable seats within reason

Could of been changed by anybody at any point!

Thanks all
