Is the start button on the ad below a bit odd ?

Looks like a large red "GO" symbol and not the usual silver button ?

That looks like a $10 decal supplied by Anchor Room to me.

I think DJONE101 is right.

Strange though it may seem, that sort of thing puts me off a car. It has only done 1,200 miles - but maybe the sort of person who would buy a "Go" sticker for the start button is the sort of person to use 'line lock' each day when going down the shops !

Actually, is there any easily identifiable record in the car electronics of the number of times Line Lock might have been used. I'd rather buy one where it hasn't as I can't imagine it does the mechanicals much good ?

My Ford dealer reckons that four line-locks will kill a set of rear tyres. Don't know if that's true, although I could see it being the case; he said the dealership management had banned the staff from doing it! I find the feature an amusing concept, but I haven't used mine (and don't intend to)!

And as for the OP - I don't think that button does the car any favours! The weird thing to me is that seems to be the only non-standard thing I can see on the car. Strange choice for a one-off customisation.

Presumably the 'go' sticker would just peel off?

Love the colour. And the chrome window surrounds. Pricey though - but I guess that is what a waiting list does !

Was looking at getting a C63 AMG but need £30k for a 4 year old 30k mile one where for an extra few grand I can get a nearly new minimal mile Mustang...
