puma electronic dash ?
Discussion
just picked up a 1.7 whilst i prepare the saab for Mot
cheap car and it shows but drives ok and handles as well as the tests suggest.
anyway, of the niggles that i can't live with day to day, is the dash. it's doing the famous crashing, rebooting, working again. until it reboots, no instruments - sometimes this is immediate but it can be many miles before it comes back on.
searching on-line gives opposing views as to swapping the cluster. this is the fix but some threads are saying the replacement needs coding and equal numbers are saying that it doesn't.
for what a used, working version will cost, i will try the swap but thought i'd ask about the coding thing whilst i await delivery
thanks for looking
