I doubt you will have to wait more than 6 months. I ordered mine last October and got a call last week to say it had arrived. It was a shock as I had no calls in between.

There are no discounts on a new RS, you pay full retail price even going through a broker.
Regarding buying one....it depends on whether you want to order and wait, or pay a premium to get an already registered one - usually 2 - 3 thousand from what I've seen.

Really? not my experience from phoning around. Theres deals to be had on cancelled orders/cars due in. Talking a good few hundred off.

ETA: RS direct are advertising pre reg ones for 1600 off. Madness to pay over list, they are hardly hard to find especially if you want a blue one.

The market must have changed then because there was definitely a premium to pay for registered cars only a few months ago.
That's good news then....no point in waiting for a factory order if that's the case. smile

Hi, I've got a blue one on order from TRUSTFORD Barnsley, due in next couple of weeks. To be honest I'm not really bothered about getting it anymore. If you're interested in taking the car PM me, i can tell you the spec.

I have stock available and whilst they're not fetching over list there is no discount.

Thats fair enough. Each dealer has the right to price as they see fit. but I was offered 800 off an unregistered full ish spec blue one from a dealer in the North. I need to have a drive of one first before I decided.

I'd be surprused if you get anything off of a new one. Check the price of the spec you want on the configurator and compare against the spec of the one you have been offered. Also make sure its sync 3.

Sounds like a bargain if you actually have all the options except those 2.

Forged wheels? winter pack? lux pack?

Also if its being built today, you wont see it next week.

The current list price for your car with all options except sunroof and shell seats comes to £35195, although yours will probably have been ordered at previous pre increase price.
Options alone add up to £3430.
As stated above if being built today its very unlikely you will get it as soon as next week. 2 full weeks is the earliest you should expect, but usually takes a bit longer than this.

Sat in one with a sunroof, it cuts headroom.

As said you wont wait 12 months, more like 6-7 months now as production ramped up. I also just had confirmation about mine being in Dagenham. However I only found this out today when I rang Guildford!!

Also, there's a quality issue on the rear spoilers, so no movement beyond Dagenham until this has been resolved. I don't know anymore until next week. So if you've ordered one and its at Dagenham waiting for the delivery then the wait may be longer than 1-2 weeks.

If anyone can sched more light, would be useful to know.

Btw - anyone got better than 5.9% APR onnford options?

How long in total did you have to wait?

Do you know what the problem is with the spoiler?
