2007 transit 6006 cdc

Hi, as per title I have this stereo with phone button, I have managed to pair my iPhone with the stereo & I have manage to make a last redial call through the stereo.

I do not know if the mic was hidden somewhere in the cab so did not work as my wife could not hear me but I could hear her through stereo speakers.

I do have voice recognition button steering column but does not recognise anything being said.

So I presume my van has Bluetooth as I've connected, but does anyone know where the mic would be if not where could I get one, also if I get it working how will it work on the stereo display will I have to say a name in my phone contacts or will the display scroll through the list in some way. And will my music on my phone be displayed by album names,

Basically would like a OEM stereo as don't like the look of the aftermarket ones, there are some on eBay that have the OEM look but most are from China, there is a few U.K. sellersbut not read many good reports on the quality of the stereos.

Only other solution I can go is an Ls rns stereo but not sure if this is an easy fit with the Bluetooth i.e. do I still need extra modules etc.

If this is the same as my Transit Jumbo, IIRC the mike is a little thing that looks like you would expect it, up at the top of the driver's door pillar.

Hi, definitely no mic there, will have a look under dash.

Can I ask do you have the 6006 cdc also, if so how do you make a call can you access your phone book on the basic 6006 led screen & can you access your music from your phone on there also.
