2011 Ford Focus 2 litre diesel - good cars?
Discussion
I'm fed up with my reliable German Audi a3, and want a car with more toys. So I'm looking back towards Ford. Previously owned a mk7 fiesta, loved it but I've got a baby due next week and girlfriend has 2 kids of her own.
Not quite ready for an estate car or fanny wagon.
Seen a 2011 focus, it's done 60k and is titanium x spec, so it's got everything my just above basic spec Audi hasn't... Its also got a 2 litre diesel 163bhp engine. I know nothing abiut these engines other than make sure u give them a run to avoid blocking the dpf.
Anyone else give me any advise? Long as the cars not sold im gonna go view it tomorrow, see how they drive.

I've driven a lot of them at work. We have a big fleet that get seriously used and abused and they rarely go wrong. I'd recommend it.
I'm going to go view it in my morning. If they are willing to do a deal I'm happy with then I might go for it.I do mostly short iah journeys, but I will give it a good run to keep things running smooth.
Just need a reliable motor. The Audi has let me down a few times ans I know it's due a flywheel at some point too. By time I've replaced the timing chain (the tensioner is a known weakness on my engine) and the flywheel I could have the newer lower mileage focus with all the toys like heated screen and seats etc...
