Ford Focus dashboard light problems

Hi guys this may be the wrong area but my light on a Ford Fiesta Zetec S which I'm confused about (see above) in my experience the (!) is brake fluid and the (P) is the park brake is on. But why are they the same light? Can someone please help me

Exactly as you say, it's a combined light covering both faults. If it stays on when the handbrake is off the fluid is low.
