Hi,

Looking to get a Tourneo Connect, 2014 ish. I'm trying to find out for certain if the front passenger seat folds flat - seems like it would be any easy thing to find out, but the guy at the dealership was useless and couldn't answer today - we found one out in the yard and he struggled and gave up (not letting me get near anything to look further). The spec sheet says 'flip/fold passenger seat' - so would like to confirm if they do have a fold flat front seat (I believe the transit connects do?).

Any ideas?

Thanks,

David

Sorry about the late reply.

At work we convert Tourneo Connects into wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAV) so have plenty in stock.
I'm not in work again until Monday but if you can clarify which way you want the seat to fold flat I'll check and get back to you.

BTW the reason the salesman probably didn't know could be because for some reason the car version is only available through a Ford Commercial dealer - he'd be used to selling vans not cars!

I hired one a couple of weeks ago, Grand Connect 7 seater

for the German models, Ambiente and Trend spec variants have a fold-flat front passenger seat (which are actually the lower spec, titanium is top and doesn't have it - different seat presumably)

it's an option .... one of many seat packs. Put the reg into www.etis.ford.com and it will show you which seat pack it has

Thanks all, much appreciated. You can also spot in an advert where the passenger seat has the clasp on it's inside shoulder, indicating the fold flat seat. I'll use the link to enter the reg # to be sure.

Give me a shout if anyone as a 63/14 plate they want to sell - I'm off to place a wanted ad to see how I get on....the search continues, the only ones advertised so far are the other end of the country from me - which isn't practical for me in the next couple of weeks.

I had to pop into work today and checked a Titanium spec one, as Hugo said they don't fold flat.

I don't think we have a Zetec in at the moment and as ours are all 2016 models it might not be of help!
