Fiesta ST150 auto Hazard warning
Discussion
I bought an 06 plate Fiesta ST as an interim car (still got it 7 months later! Funny how that happens) and the auto hazard warning actuation is starting to bug me, a lot.
On many occasions when braking firmly it will set off the hazards (bloody embarasing) sometimes it's the usual numpty pulling out or braking for no reason and I sort of "get it" but well before antilock kicks in, well today pressing on (you know the scenario) and I need to late brake at the end of a dual carriageway into a roundabout and 20 meters before bloody hazards go off.
Is the activation mechanical within the switch? Or ECU activated? would love to turn it back a bit, understanding that is a feature that can awaken the unaware of impending doom.
