Hi all. I've just purchased a 2005 facelift mk3 Mondeo and I need some help and advice about car radios. Basically I want to take the Ford 6000 radio out and replace it with my Sony CDX-GT450u radio from my old car. How do I go about doing this? I already have a single din facia adapter. Just need to know what sort of wiring harness adapter I need? It doesn't have to be connected to the steering wheel controls, but if someone can tell what harness I need for that as well, I would appreciate it. Names and part numbers would be a great help as well. Thanks.

To get the actual ford head unit out, you can get 2 u shape pins that fit in the 2 holes each side of the unit. As for the cables, check out some of the audio shop websites for the right cable for your new head unit. No reason why the steering column controls wont work if you use the correct cable.
